1.	الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration:	Aliflamra tilka ayatu alkitabi waquranin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali:	A. L. R. These are the Ayats of Revelation,- of a Qur'an that makes things clear.
Mohsin Khan:	Alif-Lam-Ra. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].These are Verses of the Book and a plain Qur'an.
Saheeh:	Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an.
