| 1. | سُورَةٌ أَنزَلْنَاهَا وَفَرَضْنَاهَا وَأَنزَلْنَا فِيهَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Sooratun anzalnaha wafaradnaha waanzalna feeha ayatin bayyinatin laAAallakum tathakkaroona |
| Yusuf Ali: | A sura which We have sent down and which We have ordained in it have We sent down Clear Signs, in order that ye may receive admonition. |
| Mohsin Khan: | (This is) a Surah (chapter of the Qur'an) which We have sent down and which We have enjoined, (ordained its laws); and in it We have revealed manifest Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations - lawful and unlawful things, and set boundaries of Islamic Religion), that you may remember. |
| Saheeh: | [This is] a surah which We have sent down and made [that within it] obligatory and revealed therein verses of clear evidence that you might remember. |
| Urdu: | یہ ایک سورت ہے جسے ہم نے نازل کیا ہے اور اس کے احکام ہم نے ہی فرض کئے ہیں اور ہم نے اس میں صاف صاف آیتیں نازل کی ہیں تاکہ تم سمجھو |
