| 181. | فَمَن بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ |
| Transliteration: | Faman baddalahu baAAdama samiAAahu fainnama ithmuhu AAala allatheena yubaddiloonahu inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun |
| Yusuf Ali: | If anyone changes the bequest after hearing it, the guilt shall be on those who make the change. For Allah hears and knows (All things). |
| Shakir: | Whoever then alters it after he has heard it, the sin of it then is only upon those who alter it; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing. |
| Pickthall: | And whoso changeth (the will) after he hath heard it - the sin thereof is only upon those who change it. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Then whoever changes the bequest after hearing it, the sin shall be on those who make the change. Truly, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. |
| Saheeh: | Then whoever alters the bequest after he has heard it - the sin is only upon those who have altered it. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. |
| Urdu: | پس جواسے اس کے سننے کےبعد بدل دے اس کا گناہ ان ہی پر ہے جو اسے بدلتے ہیں بے شک اللہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے |

| 182. | فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
| Transliteration: | Faman khafa min moosin janafan aw ithman faaslaha baynahum fala ithma AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |
| Yusuf Ali: | But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
| Shakir: | But he who fears an inclination to a wrong course or an act of disobedience on the part of the testator, and effects an agreement between the parties, there is no blame on him. Surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| Pickthall: | But he who feareth from a testator some unjust or sinful clause, and maketh peace between the parties, (it shall be) no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| Mohsin Khan: | But he who fears from a testator some unjust act or wrong-doing, and thereupon he makes peace between the parties concerned, there shall be no sin on him. Certainly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
| Saheeh: | But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. |
| Urdu: | پس جو وصیت کرنے والے سے طرف داری یا گناہ کا خوف کرے پھر ان کے درمیان اصلاح کر دے تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں بے شک الله بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے |
