76. | فَلَمَّا آتَاهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ بَخِلُوا بِهِ وَتَوَلَّوا وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ |
Transliteration: | Falamma atahum min fadlihi bakhiloo bihi watawallaw wahum muAAridoona |
Yusuf Ali: | But when He did bestow of His bounty, they became covetous, and turned back (from their covenant), averse (from its fulfilment). |
Shakir: | But when He gave them out of His grace, they became niggardly of it and they turned back and they withdrew. |
Pickthall: | Yet when He gave them of His bounty, they hoarded it and turned away, averse; |
Mohsin Khan: | Then when He gave them of His Bounty, they became niggardly [refused to pay the Sadaqah (Zakat or voluntary charity)], and turned away, averse. |
Saheeh: | But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused. |
Urdu: | پھر جب الله نے اپنے فضل سے دیا تو اس میں بخل کرنے لگے اورمنہ موڑ کر پھر بیٹھے |
