| 40. | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَا ۗ أَفَمَن يُلْقَىٰ فِي النَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّن يَأْتِي آمِنًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ |
| Transliteration: | Inna allatheena yulhidoona fee ayatina la yakhfawna AAalayna afaman yulqa fee alnnari khayrun am man yatee aminan yawma alqiyamati iAAmaloo ma shitum innahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun |
| Yusuf Ali: | Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better?- he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgment? Do what ye will: verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do. |
| Shakir: | Surely they who deviate from the right way concerning Our communications are not hidden from Us. What! is he then who is cast into the fire better, or he who comes safe on the day of resurrection? Do what you like, surely He sees what you do. |
| Pickthall: | Lo! those who distort Our revelations are not hid from Us. Is he who is hurled into the Fire better, or he who cometh secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what ye will. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Verily, those who turn away from Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc. by attacking, distorting and denying them) are not hidden from Us. Is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you will. Verily He is All-Seer of what you do (this is a severe threat to the disbelievers ). |
| Saheeh: | Indeed, those who inject deviation into Our verses are not concealed from Us. So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do whatever you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do. |
| Urdu: | بے شک جو لوگ ہماری آیتوں میں کجروی کرتے ہیں وہ ہم سے چھپے نہیں رہتے کیا وہ شخص جو آگ میں ڈالا جائے گا بہتر ہے یا وہ جو قیامت کے دن امن سے آئے گا جو چاہو کرو جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو وہ دیکھ رہا ہے |
