| 4. | وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ |
| Transliteration: | Wainnahu fee ommi alkitabi ladayna laAAaliyyun hakeemun |
| Yusuf Ali: | And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom. |
| Shakir: | And surely it is in the original of the Book with Us, truly elevated, full of wisdom. |
| Pickthall: | And Lo! in the Source of Decrees, which We possess, it is indeed sublime, decisive. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And verily, it (this Qur'an) is in the Mother of the Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz), with Us, indeed exalted, full of wisdom. |
| Saheeh: | And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom. |
| Urdu: | اور یہ کتاب لوح محفوظ میں ہمارے نزدیک بلند مرتبہ حکمت والی ہے |
