| 48. | وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ |
| Transliteration: | Waisbir lihukmi rabbika fainnaka biaAAyunina wasabbih bihamdi rabbika heena taqoomu |
| Yusuf Ali: | Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in Our eyes: and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth, |
| Shakir: | And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; |
| Pickthall: | So wait patiently (O Muhammad) for thy Lord's decree, for surely thou art in Our sight; and hymn the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest, |
| Mohsin Khan: | So wait patiently (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes ; and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. |
| Saheeh: | And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. |
| Urdu: | اور اپنے رب کا حکم آنے تک صبر کر کیوں کہ بےشک آپ ہماری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہیں اور اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کیجیئے جب آپ اٹھا کریں |

| 49. | وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ |
| Transliteration: | Wamina allayli fasabbihhu waidbara alnnujoomi |
| Yusuf Ali: | And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! |
| Shakir: | And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. |
| Pickthall: | And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And in the nighttime also glorify His Praises - and at the setting of the stars. |
| Saheeh: | And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. |
| Urdu: | اور (کچھ حصہ رات میں بھی) اس کی تسبیح کیا کیجیئے اور ستاروں کے غروب ہونے کے بعد بھی |
