اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ
Transliteration 1: Iqtarabati alssaAAatu wainshaqqa alqamaru
Yusuf Ali 1: The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder.
Shakir 1: The hour drew nigh and the moon did rend asunder.
Pickthal 1: The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.
Mohsin Khan: 1: The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon).
Saheeh: 1: The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].
Urdu 1: قیامت قریب آ گئی اور چاند پھٹ گیا
