31 | وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاءِ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ |
| | | | Transliteration 31: | WaAAallama adama alasmaa kullaha thumma AAaradahum AAala almalaikati faqala anbioonee biasmai haolai in kuntum sadiqeena |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 31: | And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right." |
| | | | Urdu 31: | اور الله نے آدم کو سب چیزوں کے نام سکھائے پھر ان سب چیزوں کو فرشتوں کے سامنے پیش کیا پھر فرمایا مجھے ان کے نام بتاؤ اگر تم سچے ہو |

32 | قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ |
| | | | Transliteration 32: | Qaloo subhanaka la AAilma lana illa ma AAallamtana innaka anta alAAaleemu alhakeemu |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 32: | They said: "Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save what Thou Hast taught us: In truth it is Thou Who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom." |
| | | | Urdu 32: | انہوں نے کہا تو پاک ہے ہم تو اتنا ہی جانتے ہیں جتنا تو نے ہمیں بتایاہے بے شک تو بڑے علم والا حکمت والا ہے |
