Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
81.وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُ ۚ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَ‌ٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِي ۖ قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Transliteration:Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa alnnabiyyeena lama ataytukum min kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakum rasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latuminunna bihi walatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtum AAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarna qala faishhadoo waana maAAakum mina alshshahideena
Yusuf Ali:Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
Urdu:اورجب الله نے نبیوں سے عہد لیا اور البتہ جو کچھ میں تمہیں کتاب ابور علم سے دوں پھر تمہارے پاس پیغنبر آئے جو اس چیز کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہو جو تمہارے پاس ہے البتہ اس پر ایمان لے آنا اور البتہ اس کی مدد کرنا فرمایا کیاتم نے اقرار کیا اور اس شرط پر میرا عہد قبول کیا انہوں نے کہا ہم نے اقرار کیا الله نے فرمایا تو اب تم گواہ رہو میں بھی تمہارے ساتھ گواہ ہوں
