Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
97.إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا فِيمَ كُنتُمْ ۖ قَالُوا كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ قَالُوا أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوا فِيهَا ۚ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا
Transliteration:Inna allatheena tawaffahumu almalaikatu thalimee anfusihim qaloo feema kuntum qaloo kunna mustadAAafeena fee alardi qaloo alam takun ardu Allahi wasiAAatan fatuhajiroo feeha faolaika mawahum jahannamu wasaat maseeran
Yusuf Ali:When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Such men will find their abode in Hell,- What an evil refuge! -
Urdu:بے شک جو لوگ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کر رہے تھے ان کی روحیں جب فرشتوں نے قبض کیں توان سے پوچھا کہ تم کس حال میں تھے انہوں نے جواب دیا ہم اس ملک میں بے بس تھے فرتشوں نے کہا کیا الله کی زمین وسیع نہ تھی کہ تم اس میں ہجرت کر جاتےسو ایسوں کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے اور بہت ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے
