151 | ۞ قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُم مِّنْ إِمْلَاقٍ ۖ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 151: | Qul taAAalaw atlu ma harrama rabbukum AAalaykum alla tushrikoo bihi shayan wabialwalidayni ihsanan wala taqtuloo awladakum min imlaqin nahnu narzuqukum waiyyahum wala taqraboo alfawahisha ma thahara minha wama batana wala taqtuloo alnnafsa allatee harrama Allahu illa bialhaqqi thalikum wassakum bihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 151: | Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom. |
| | | | Urdu 151: | کہہ دو آؤ میں تمہیں سنا دوں جو تمہارے رب نے تم پر حرام کیا ہے یہ کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ بناؤ اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ نیکی کرو اور تنگدستی کے سبب اپنی اولاد کو قتل نہ کرو ہم تمہیں اور انہیں رزق دیں گے اور بے حیائی کے ظاہر اور پوشیدہ کاموں کے قریب نہ جاؤ اور نا حق کسی جان کو قتل نہ کرو جس کا قتل الله نے حرام کیا ہے تمہیں یہ حکم دیتا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھ جاؤ |
