17.مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُوا مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ شَاهِدِينَ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِم بِالْكُفْرِ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ وَفِي النَّارِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ
Transliteration:Ma kana lilmushrikeena an yaAAmuroo masajida Allahi shahideena AAala anfusihim bialkufri olaika habitat aAAmaluhum wafee alnnari hum khalidoona
Yusuf Ali:It is not for such as join gods with Allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of Allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. The works of such bear no fruit: In Fire shall they dwell.
Urdu:مشرکوں کا کام نہیں کہ الله کی مسجدیں آباد کریں جب کہ وہ اپنے آپ پر کفر کی گواہی دے رہے ہوں ان لوگوں کے سب اعمال بے کار ہیں اور وہ ہمیشہ آگ میں رہیں گے
