35 | وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ |

| | Transliteration 35: | Waith qala ibraheemu rabbi ijAAal hatha albalada aminan waojnubnee wabaniyya an naAAbuda alasnama |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 35: | Remember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols. |

| | Urdu 35: | اورجس وقت ابراھیم نے کہا اے میرے رب! اس شہر کوامن والا کر دے اور مجھے اور میری اولاد کو بت پرستی سے بچا |

36 | رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| | Transliteration 36: | Rabbi innahunna adlalna katheeran mina alnnasi faman tabiAAanee fainnahu minnee waman AAasanee fainnaka ghafoorun raheemun |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 36: | "O my Lord! they have indeed led astray many among mankind; He then who follows my (ways) is of me, and he that disobeys me,- but Thou art indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

| | Urdu 36: | اے میرے رب! انہوں نے بہت لوگوں کو گمراہ کیا ہے پس جس نے میری پیروی کی وہ تو میرا ہے اورجس نے نافرمانی کی پس تحقیق تو بخشنے والا مہربان ہے |

37 | رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ |

| | Transliteration 37: | Rabbana innee askantu min thurriyyatee biwadin ghayri thee zarAAin AAinda baytika almuharrami rabbana liyuqeemoo alssalata faijAAal afidatan mina alnnasi tahwee ilayhim waorzuqhum mina alththamarati laAAallahum yashkuroona |

| | Yusuf Ali 37: | "O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks. |

| | Urdu 37: | اے رب میرے! میں نے اپنی کچھ اولاد ایسےمیدان میں بسائی ہے جہاں کھیتی نہیں تیرے عزت والے گھر کے پاس اے رب ہمارے! تاکہ نماز کو قائم رکھیں پھرکچھ لوگو ں کے دل ان کی طرف مائل کر دے اور انہیں میووں کی روزی دے تاکہ وہ شکر کریں |

38 | رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ |

| | Transliteration 38: | Rabbana innaka taAAlamu ma nukhfee wama nuAAlinu wama yakhfa AAala Allahi min shayin fee alardi wala fee alssamai |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 38: | "O our Lord! truly Thou dost know what we conceal and what we reveal: for nothing whatever is hidden from Allah, whether on earth or in heaven. |
| |
| | Urdu 38: | اے رب ہمارے! بے شک تو جانتا ہے جو کچھ ہم چھپاتے ہیں اورجو کچھ ظاہر کرتے ہیں اور الله پر کوئی چیز زمین اورآسمان میں پوشیدہ نہیں |

39 | الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ |
| |
| | Transliteration 39: | Alhamdu lillahi allathee wahaba lee AAala alkibari ismaAAeela waishaqa inna rabbee lasameeAAu aldduAAai |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 39: | "Praise be to Allah, Who hath granted unto me in old age Isma'il and Isaac: for truly my Lord is He, the Hearer of Prayer! |
| |
| | Urdu 39: | الله کا شکر ہے جس نے مجھے اتنی بڑی عمر میں اسماعیل اور اسحاق بخشے بے شک میرا رب دعاؤں کا سننے والا ہے |

40 | رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ |
| |
| | Transliteration 40: | Rabbi ijAAalnee muqeema alssalati wamin thurriyyatee rabbana wtaqabbal duAAai |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 40: | O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer. |
| |
| | Urdu 40: | اے میرے رب! مجھے اور میری اولاد کو نماز قائم کرنے والا بنا دے اے ہمارے رب! اورمیری دعا قبول فرما |

41 | رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ |
| |
| | Transliteration 41: | Rabbana ighfir lee waliwalidayya walilmumineena yawma yaqoomu alhisabu |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 41: | "O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established! |
| |
| | Urdu 41: | اے ہمارے رب! مجھے اورمیرے ماں باپ کو اور ایمانداروں کو حساب قائم ہونے کے دن بخش دے |
