Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
23. ۞ وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا ۚ إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ الْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَا أُفٍّ وَلَا تَنْهَرْهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوْلًا كَرِيمًا
Transliteration:Waqada rabbuka alla taAAbudoo illa iyyahu wabialwalidayni ihsanan imma yablughanna AAindaka alkibara ahaduhuma aw kilahuma fala taqul lahuma offin wala tanharhuma waqul lahuma qawlan kareeman
Yusuf Ali:Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.
Urdu:اور تیرا رب فیصلہ کر چکا ہے اس کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ نیکی کرو اور اگر تیرے سامنے ان میں سے ایک یا دونوں بڑھاپے کو پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں اف بھی نہ کہو اور نہ انہیں جھڑکو اور ان سے ادب سے بات کرو
