33 | وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا فَلَا يُسْرِف فِّي الْقَتْلِ ۖ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَنصُورًا |
| | | | Transliteration 33: | Wala taqtuloo alnnafsa allatee harrama Allahu illa bialhaqqi waman qutila mathlooman faqad jaAAalna liwaliyyihi sultanan fala yusrif fee alqatli innahu kana mansooran |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 33: | Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law). |
| | | | Urdu 33: | اور جس جان کو قتل کرنا الله نے حرام کر دیا ہے اسے ناحق قتل نہ کرنا اور جو کوئی ظلم سے مارا جائے تو ہم نے اس کے ولی کے واسطے اختیار دے دیا ہے لہذاا قصاص میں زيادتی نہ کرے بے شک اس کی مدد کی گئی ہے |
