36 | وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ ۖ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَافَّ ۖ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرْنَاهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 36: | Waalbudna jaAAalnaha lakum min shaAAairi Allahi lakum feeha khayrun faothkuroo isma Allahi AAalayha sawaffa faitha wajabat junoobuha fakuloo minha waatAAimoo alqaniAAa waalmuAAtarra kathalika sakhkharnaha lakum laAAallakum tashkuroona |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 36: | The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the symbols from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful. |
| | | | Urdu 36: | اور ہم نے تمہارے لیے قربانی کے اونٹ کو الله کی نشانیوں میں سے بنایا ہے تمہارے لیے ان میں فائدے بھی ہیں پھر ان پر الله کا نام کھڑا کر کے لو پھر جب وہ کسی پہلو پر گر پڑیں تو ان میں سے خود کھاؤ اور صبر سے بیٹھنے والے اور سائل کو بھی کھلاؤ الله نے انہیں تمہارے لیے ایسا مسخر کر دیا ہے تاکہ تم شکر کرو |
