142 | إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَالِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ |

| | Transliteration 142: | Ith qala lahum akhoohum salihun ala tattaqoona |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 142: | Behold, their brother Salih said to them: "Will you not fear (Allah)? |
| |
| | Urdu 142: | جب ان سے ان کے بھائی صالح نے کہا کیا تم ڈرتے نہیں |

|
143 | إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ |
| |
| | Transliteration 143: | Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 143: | "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. |
| |
| | Urdu 143: | میں تمہارے لیے امانت دار رسول ہوں |
| |
|
| |
|
144 | فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
| |
| | Transliteration 144: | Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 144: | "So fear Allah, and obey me. |
| |
| | Urdu 144: | پس الله سے ڈرو اور میرا کہا مانو |
| |
|
| |
|
145 | وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |

| | Transliteration 145: | Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 145: | "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. |
| |
| | Urdu 145: | اور میں تم سے اسپر کوئی مزدوری نہیں مانگتا میری مزدوری تو بس رب العالمین کے ذمہ ہے |

|
146 | أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَاهُنَا آمِنِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 146: | Atutrakoona fee ma hahuna amineena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 146: | "Will ye be left secure, in (the enjoyment of) all that ye have here?- |
| |
| | Urdu 146: | کیا تمہیں ان چیزو ں میں یہاں بے فکری سے رہنے دیا جائے گا |
| |

| |
|
147 | فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ |
| |
| | Transliteration 147: | Fee jannatin waAAuyoonin |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 147: | "Gardens and Springs, |
| |
| | Urdu 147: | یعنی باغوں اور چشموں میں |
| |
|
| |
|
148 | وَزُرُوعٍ وَنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌ |
| |
| | Transliteration 148: | WazurooAAin wanakhlin talAAuha hadeemun |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 148: | "And corn-fields and date-palms with spathes near breaking (with the weight of fruit)? |
| |
| | Urdu 148: | اور کھیتوں اور کھجوروں میں جن کا خوشہ ملائم ہے |
| |
|
| |
|
149 | وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَارِهِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 149: | Watanhitoona mina aljibali buyootan fariheena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 149: | "And ye carve houses out of (rocky) mountains with great skill. |
| |
| | Urdu 149: | او رتم پہاڑوں کوتراش کر تکلف کے گھر بناتے ہو |
| |
|
| |
|
150 | فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
| |
| | Transliteration 150: | Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 150: | "But fear Allah and obey me; |
| |
| | Urdu 150: | پس الله سے ڈرو اور میرا کہا مانو |
| |
|
| |
|
151 | وَلَا تُطِيعُوا أَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 151: | Wala tuteeAAoo amra almusrifeena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 151: | "And follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant,- |
| |
| | Urdu 151: | اوران حد سے نکلنے والوں کا کہا مت مانو |
| |
|
| |
|
152 | الَّذِينَ يُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 152: | Allatheena yufsidoona fee alardi wala yuslihoona |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 152: | "Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)." |
| |
| | Urdu 152: | جو زمین میں فساد کرتے ہیں اور اصلاح نہیں کرتے |
| |
|
| |
|
153 | قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 153: | Qaloo innama anta mina almusahhareena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 153: | They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! |
| |
| | Urdu 153: | کہنے لگے تم پر تو کسی نے جادو کیا ہے |
| |
|
| |
|
154 | مَا أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِآيَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 154: | Ma anta illa basharun mithluna fati biayatin in kunta mina alssadiqeena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 154: | "Thou art no more than a mortal like us: then bring us a Sign, if thou tellest the truth!" |
| |
| | Urdu 154: | توبھی ہم جیسا ایک آدمی ہے سو کوئی نشانی لے آ اگر تو سچا ہے |
| |
|
| |
|
155 | قَالَ هَـٰذِهِ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ |
| |
| | Transliteration 155: | Qala hathihi naqatun laha shirbun walakum shirbu yawmin maAAloomin |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 155: | He said: "Here is a she-camel: she has a right of watering, and ye have a right of watering, (severally) on a day appointed. |
| |
| | Urdu 155: | کہا یہ اونٹنی ہے اسکے پینے کا ایک دن ہے اور یک دن معین تمہارے پینے کے لیے ہے |

|
| |
|
156 | وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ |
| |
| | Transliteration 156: | Wala tamassooha bisooin fayakhuthakum AAathabu yawmin AAatheemin |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 156: | "Touch her not with harm, lest the Penalty of a Great Day seize you." |
| |
| | Urdu 156: | اور اسے برائی سے ہاتھ نہ لگانا ورنہ تمہیں بڑے دن کا عذاب آ پکڑے گا |

| |
|
157 | فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا نَادِمِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 157: | FaAAaqarooha faasbahoo nadimeena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 157: | But they ham-strung her: then did they become full of regrets. |
| |
| | Urdu 157: | سو انہوں نے اس کے پاؤں کاٹ ڈالے پھر پشیمان ہوئے |
| |
|
| |
|
158 | فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
| |
| | Transliteration 158: | Faakhathahumu alAAathabu inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena |
| |
| | Yusuf Ali 158: | But the Penalty seized them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. |
| |
| | Urdu 158: | پھر انہیں عذاب نے آ پکڑا البتہ اس میں بڑی نشانی ہے اور ان میں سے اکثر ایمان لانے والے نہیں |
