19 | أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَىٰ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ ۖ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا |
| | | | Transliteration 19: | Ashihhatan AAalaykum faitha jaa alkhawfu raaytahum yanthuroona ilayka tadooru aAAyunuhum kaallathee yughsha AAalayhi mina almawti faitha thahaba alkhawfu salaqookum bialsinatin hidadin ashihhatan AAala alkhayri olaika lam yuminoo faahbata Allahu aAAmalahum wakana thalika AAala Allahi yaseeran |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 19: | Covetous over you. Then when fear comes, thou wilt see them looking to thee, their eyes revolving, like (those of) one over whom hovers death: but when the fear is past, they will smite you with sharp tongues, covetous of goods. Such men have no faith, and so Allah has made their deeds of none effect: and that is easy for Allah. |
| | | | Urdu 19: | تم سے ہمدردی کرتے ہوئے پھر جب ڈر کا وقت آجائے تو تُو انھیں دیکھے گا کہ تیری طرف دیکھتے ہیں ان کی آنکھیں پھرتی ہیں جیسے کسی پر موت کی بے ہوشی آئے پھر جب ڈر جاتا رہے تو تمہیں تیز زبانوں سے طعنہ دیتے ہیں مال کے لالچی ہیں یہ لوگ ایمان نہیں لائے تو الله نے ان کے تمام اعمال ضائع کر دیے اور یہ بات الله پر بالکل آسان ہے |
