18 | وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ وَإِن تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ ۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ |
| | | | Transliteration 18: | Wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra wain tadAAu muthqalatun ila himliha la yuhmal minhu shayon walaw kana tha qurba innama tunthiru allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum bialghaybi waaqamoo alssalata waman tazakka fainnama yatazakka linafsihi waila Allahi almaseeru |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 18: | Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. |
| | | | Urdu 18: | اور کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا اور اگر کوئی بوجھ والا اپنے بوجھ کی طرف بلائے گا تو اس کے بوجھ میں سے کچھ بھی اٹھایا نہ جائے گا اگرچہ قریبی رشتہ داری ہو بے شک آپ انہیں لوگوں کو ڈراتے ہیں جو بن دیکھے اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور جو پاک ہوتا ہے سو وہ اپنے ہی لیے پا ک ہوتا ہے اور الله ہی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے |
