14 | إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ كَافِرُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 14: | Ith jaathumu alrrusulu min bayni aydeehim wamin khalfihim alla taAAbudoo illa Allaha qaloo law shaa rabbuna laanzala malaikatan fainna bima orsiltum bihi kafiroona |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 14: | Behold, the messengers came to them, from before them and behind them, (preaching): "Serve none but Allah." They said, "If our Lord had so pleased, He would certainly have sent down angels (to preach). Now we reject your mission (altogether)." |
| | | | Urdu 14: | جب ان کے پاس رسول آئے ان کے سامنے سے اور ان کے پیچھے سے کہ سوائے الله کے کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو تو کہنے لگےکہ اگر ہمارا رب چاہتا تو فرشتے نازل کر دیتا پس ہم تو اس چیز سے جو تم دے کر بھیجے گئے ہو منکر ہیں |
