Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
24.فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَـٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا ۚ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُم بِهِ ۖ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Transliteration:Falamma raawhu AAaridan mustaqbila awdiyatihim qaloo hatha AAaridun mumtiruna bal huwa ma istaAAjaltum bihi reehun feeha AAathabun aleemun
Yusuf Ali:Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty!
Urdu:پھر جب انہوں نے اسے دیکھا کہ وہ ایک ابر ہے جو ان کے میدانوں کی طرف بڑھا چلا آ رہا ہے کہنے لگے کہ یہ تو ابر ہے جو ہم پر برسے گا (نہیں) بلکہ یہ وہی ہے جسے تم جلدی چاہتے تھے یعنی آندھی جس میں دردناک عذاب ہے
