20 | وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ ۖ فَإِذَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا الْقِتَالُ ۙ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِيِّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ ۖ فَأَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ |
| | | | Transliteration 20: | Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoo lawla nuzzilat sooratun faitha onzilat sooratun muhkamatun wathukira feeha alqitalu raayta allatheena fee quloobihim maradun yanthuroona ilayka nathara almaghshiyyi AAalayhi mina almawti faawla lahum |

But when a sura of basic or categorical meaning is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a look of one in swoon at the approach of death. | | | | Urdu 20: | اور کہتے ہیں وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے کوئی سورت کیوں نہیں نازل ہوئی سو جس وقت کوئی صاف (مضمون) کی سورت نازل ہوتی ہے اور اس میں جہاد کا بھی ذکر ہوتا ہے تو جن لوگو ں کے دلوں میں بیماری (نفاق) ہے آپ ان لوگو ں کو دیکھتے ہیں کہ وہ آپ کی طرف اس طرح دیکھتے ہیں جیسے کسی پر موت کی بیہوشی طاری ہو پس ایسے لوگوں کے لیے تباہی ہے |
