(161) And whatever you lay out as usury, so that it may increase in the property of men, it shall not increase with Allah; and whatever you give in charity, desiring allah's pleasure-- it is these (persons) that shall get manifold.

(162) Look then at the signs of allah's mercy, how He gives life to the earth after its death, most surely He will raise the dead to life; and He has power over all things.

(163) And of men is he who takes instead frivolous discourse to lead astray from allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement.

(164) This is allah's creation, but show Me what those besides Him have created. Nay, the unjust are in manifest error

(165) And whoever submits himself wholly to Allah and he is the doer of good (to others), he indeed has taken hold of the firmest thing upon which one can lay hold; and allah's is the end of affairs.

(166) What is in the heavens and the earth is allah's; surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised.

(167) Do you not see that the ships run on in the sea by allah's favor that He may show you of His signs? Most surely there are signs in this for every patient endurer, grateful one.

(168) And certainly they had made a covenant with Allah before, that) they would not turn (their) backs; and allah's covenant shall be inquired of.

(169) And when you said to him to whom Allah had shown favor and to whom you had shown a favor: Keep your wife to yourself and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and you concealed in your soul what Allah would bring to light, and you feared men, and Allah had a greater right that you should fear Him. But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and allah's command shall be performed.

(170) Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement.
