(121) There is no reproach for the Prophet in that which Allah maketh his due. That was allah's way with those who passed away of old - and the commandment of Allah is certain destiny -

(122) O Ye who believe! Enter not the dwellings of the Prophet for a meal without waiting for the proper time, unless permission be granted you. But if ye are invited, enter, and, when your meal is ended, then disperse. Linger not for conversation. Lo! that would cause annoyance to the Prophet, and he would be shy of (asking) you (to go); but Allah is not shy of the truth. And when ye ask of them (the wives of the Prophet) anything, ask it of them from behind a curtain. That is purer for your hearts and for their hearts. And it is not for you to cause annoyance to the messenger of Allah, nor that ye should ever marry his wives after him. Lo! that in allah's sight would be an enormity.

(123) O ye who believe! Be not as those who slandered Moses, but Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged, and he was well esteemed in allah's sight.

(124) Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I exhort you unto one thing only: that ye awake, for allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then reflect: There is no madness in your comrade. He is naught else than a warner unto you in face of a terrific doom.

(125) O mankind! Remember allah's grace toward you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provideth for you from the sky and the earth? There is no Allah save Him. Whither then are ye turned?

(126) And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.

(127) Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance unto those whom We elected of Our bondmen. But of them are some who wrong themselves and of them are some who are lukewarm, and of them are some who outstrip (others) through good deeds, by allah's leave. That is the great favour!

(128) (Shown in their) behaving arrogantly in the land and plotting evil; and the evil plot encloseth but the men who make it. Then, can they expect aught save the treatment of the folk of old? Thou wilt not find for allah's way of treatment any substitute, nor wilt thou find for allah's way of treatment aught of power to change.

(129) Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and allah's earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint.

(130) Allah hath (now) revealed the fairest of statements, a Scripture consistent, (wherein promises of reward are) paired (with threats of punishment), whereat doth creep the flesh of those who fear their Lord, so that their flesh and their hearts soften to allah's reminder. Such is allah's guidance, wherewith He guideth whom He will. And him whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide.
