(7) And the answer of his people was no other than that they said: Turn them out of your town, surely they are a people who seek to purify (themselves).

(8) Surely those whom you call on besides Allah are in a state of subjugation like yourselves; therefore call on them, then let them answer you if you are truthful.

(9) When you sought aid from your Lord, so He answered you: I will assist you with a thousand of the angels following one another.

(10) O you who believe! answer (the call of) Allah and His Apostle when he calls you to that which gives you life; and know that Allah intervenes between man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered.
