(1) That He might cut off a fringe of the Unbelievers or expose them to infamy, and they should then be turned back, frustrated of their purpose.

(7) They will in no wise frustrate (His design) on earth, nor have they protectors besides Allah! Their penalty will be doubled! They lost the power to hear, and they did not see!

(8) He said: "Truly, Allah will bring it on you if He wills,- and then, ye will not be able to frustrate it!

(9) "But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them,- they will be Companions of the Fire."

(10) Never think thou that the Unbelievers are going to frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth: their abode is the Fire,- and it is indeed an evil refuge!
