(11) These are the limits (imposed by) Allah. Whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter gardens underneath which rivers flow, where such will dwell for ever. That will be the great success.

(12) And as for those who believe and do good works, We shall make them enter gardens underneath which rivers flow - to dwell therein for ever; there for them are pure companions - and We shall make them enter plenteous shade.

(13) But as for those who believe and do good works We shall bring them into gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. It is a promise from Allah in truth; and who can be more truthful than Allah in utterance?

(14) Allah made a covenant of old with the Children of Israel and We raised among them twelve chieftains, and Allah said: Lo! I am with you. If ye establish worship and pay the poor-due, and believe in My messengers and support them, and lend unto Allah a kindly loan, surely I shall remit your sins, and surely I shall bring you into gardens underneath which rivers flow. Whoso among you disbelieveth after this will go astray from a plain road.

(15) If only the People of the Scripture would believe and ward off (evil), surely We should remit their sins from them and surely We should bring them into gardens of Delight.

(16) Allah hath rewarded them for that their saying - gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the reward of the good.

(17) Allah saith: This is a day in which their truthfulness profiteth the truthful, for theirs are gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they are secure for ever, Allah taking pleasure in them and they in Him. That is the great triumph.

(18) He it is Who sendeth down water from the sky, and therewith We bring forth buds of every kind; We bring forth the green blade from which We bring forth the thick-clustered grain; and from the date-palm, from the pollen thereof, spring pendant bunches; and (We bring forth) gardens of grapes, and the olive and the pomegranate, alike and unlike. Look upon the fruit thereof, when they bear fruit, and upon its ripening. Lo! herein verily are portents for a people who believe.

(19) He it is Who produceth gardens trellised and untrellised, and the date-palm, and crops of divers flavour, and the olive and the pomegranate, like and unlike. Eat ye of the fruit thereof when it fruiteth, and pay the due thereof upon the harvest day, and be not prodigal. Lo! Allah loveth not the prodigals.

(20) And (unto man): O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat from whence ye will, but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers.
