(7) We helped him against people who rejected Our Signs: truly they were a people given to Evil: so We drowned them (in the Flood) all together.

(8) (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us.

(9) But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood.

(10) Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!
