(41) They swear by Allah that they said nothing (evil), but indeed they uttered blasphemy, and they did it after accepting Islam; and they meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out: this revenge of theirs was (their) only return for the bounty with which Allah and His Messenger had enriched them! If they repent, it will be best for them; but if they turn back (to their evil ways), Allah will punish them with a grievous penalty in this life and in the hereafter: They shall have none on earth to protect or help them.

(42) For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity.

(43) They are those for whom there is nothing in the hereafter but the Fire: vain are the designs they frame therein, and of no effect and the deeds that they do!

(44) "Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the hereafter!"

(45) Without a doubt, these are the very ones who will lose most in the hereafter!

(46) In that is a Sign for those who fear the penalty of the hereafter: that is a Day for which mankind will be gathered together: that will be a Day of Testimony.

(47) He said: "Before any food comes (in due course) to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this ere it befall you: that is part of the (duty) which my Lord hath taught me. I have (I assure you) abandoned the ways of a people that believe not in Allah and that (even) deny the hereafter.

(48) But verily the reward of the hereafter is the best, for those who believe, and are constant in righteousness.

(49) "O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events,- O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous."

(50) Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?
