Deface, our Lord, the features of their wealth, and send hardness to their hearts, so they will not believe until they see the grievous penalty."

(4) Nor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them, the splendour of the life of this world, through which We test them: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring.

(5) And thou hadst not expected that the Book would be sent to thee except as a Mercy from thy Lord: Therefore lend not thou support in any way to those who reject (Allah's Message).

(6) Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)!

(7) And placed (therein) a Light of Splendour?

(8) Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light).

(9) By the Sun and his (glorious) splendour;
