(211) When ye sought help of your lord and He answered you (saying): I will help you with a thousand of the angels, rank on rank.

(212) When thy lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger.

(213) (Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they denied the revelations of their lord, so We destroyed them in their sins. And We drowned the folk of Pharaoh. All were evil-doers.

(214) Their lord giveth them good tidings of mercy from Him, and acceptance, and Gardens where enduring pleasure will be theirs;

(215) They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!

(216) Now, if they turn away (O Muhammad) say: Allah sufficeth me. There is no Allah save Him. In Him have I put my trust, and He is lord of the Tremendous Throne.

(217) Is it a wonder for mankind that We have inspired a man among them, saying: Warn mankind and bring unto those who believe the good tidings that they have a sure footing with their lord? The disbelievers say: Lo! this is a mere wizard.

(218) Lo! your lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then He established Himself upon the Throne, directing all things. There is no intercessor (with Him) save after His permission. That is Allah, your lord, so worship Him. Oh, will ye not remind?

(219) Lo! those who believe and do good works, their lord guideth them by their faith. Rivers will flow beneath them in the Gardens of Delight,

(220) Their prayer therein will be: Glory be to Thee, O Allah! and their greeting therein will be: Peace. And the conclusion of their prayer will be: Praise be to Allah, lord of the Worlds!
