(1203) This is our book that speaks against you with justice; surely We wrote what you did,

(1204) And when it was said, Surely the promise of Allah is true and as for the hour, there is no doubt about it, you said: We do not know what the hour is; we do not think (that it will come to pass) save a passing thought, and we are not at all sure.

(1205) And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers:

(1206) And when our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say with regard to the truth when it comes to them: This is clear magic.

(1207) Surely those who say, our Lord is Allah, then they continue on the right way, they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.

(1208) And on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: You did away with your good things in your life of the world and you enjoyed them for a while, so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed.

(1209) They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from our gods; then bring us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful ones.

(1210) They said: O our people! we have listened to a Book revealed after Musa verifying that which is before it, guiding to the truth and to a right path:
