(1) They desire to deceive Allah and those who believe, and they deceive only themselves and they do not perceive.

(2) Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive.

(3) And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive.

(4) But when Isa perceived unbelief on their part, he said Who will be my helpers in Allah's way? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah: We believe in Allah and bear witness that we are submitting ones.

(5) A party of the followers of the Book desire that they should lead you astray, and they lead not astray but themselves, and they do not perceive.

(6) And they prohibit (others) from it and go far away from it, and they only bring destruction upon their own souls while they do not perceive.

(7) And thus have We made in every town the great ones to be its guilty ones, that they may plan therein; and they do not plan but against their own souls, and they do not perceive.

(8) Then We gave them good in the place of evil until they became many and said: Distress and happiness did indeed befall our fathers. Then We took them by surprise while they did not perceive.

(9) So when they had gone off with him and agreed that they should put him down at the bottom of the pit, and We revealed to him: You will most certainly inform them of this their affair while they do not perceive.

(10) And when the caravan had departed, their father said: Most surely I perceive the greatness of Yusuf, unless you pronounce me to be weak in judgment.
