(3) Make not thy hand tied (like a niggard's) to thy neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach, so that thou become blameworthy and destitute.

(4) Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an).

(5) And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle).

(6) That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew!

(7) When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
