The word(s) "hell" appears 198 time(s) in 196 verse(s) in Quran in Mohsin Khan translation.

(1) And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah ) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and in that which was sent down before you [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and hell).

(2) But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

(3) And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise) and in His Warnings (hell)].

(4) And they (Jews) say, "The Fire (i.e. hell-fire on the Day of Resurrection) shall not touch us but for a few numbered days." Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to them): "Have you taken a covenant from Allah, so that Allah will not break His Covenant? Or is it that you say of Allah what you know not?"

(5) Yes! Whosoever earns evil and his sin has surrounded him, they are dwellers of the Fire (i.e. hell); they will dwell therein forever.

(6) Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with the truth (Islam), a bringer of glad tidings (for those who believe in what you brought, that they will enter Paradise) and a warner (for those who disbelieve in what you brought, that they will enter the hell-fire). And you will not be asked about the dwellers of the blazing Fire.

(7) They will abide therein (under the curse in hell), their punishment will neither be lightened, nor will they be reprieved.

(8) And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah", he is led by arrogance to (more) crime. So enough for him is hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest!

(9) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to those who disbelieve: "You will be defeated and gathered together to hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest."

(10) They will abide therein (hell). Neither will their torment be lightened, nor will it be delayed or postponed (for a while).
