(2) And as for those who are guilty of an indecency from among your women, call to witnesses against them four (witnesses) from among you; then if they bear witness confine them to the houses until death takes them away or Allah opens some way for them.

(3) And when those who disbelieved devised plans against you that they might confine you or slay you or drive you away; and they devised plans and Allah too had arranged a plan; and Allah is the best of planners.

(4) All do We aid-- these as well as those-- out of the bounty of your Lord, and the bounty of your Lord is not confined.

(5) Pure ones confined to the pavilions.
