(1) O you who believe! do not devour usury, making it double and redouble, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful.
(2) He will say: Enter into fire among the nations that have passed away before you from among jinn and men; whenever a nation shall enter, it shall curse its sister, until when they have all come up with one another into it; the last of them shall say with regard to the foremost of them: Our Lord! these led us astray therefore give them a double chastisement of the fire. He will say: Every one shall have double but you do not know.
(3) These shall not escape in the earth, nor shall they have any guardians besides Allah; the punishment shall be doubled for them, they could not bear to hear and they did not see.
(4) In that case We would certainly have made you to taste a double (punishment) in this life and a double (punishment) after death, then you would not have found any helper against Us.
(5) The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement;
(6) O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse.
(7) And not your wealth nor your children, are the things which bring you near Us in station, but whoever believes and does good, these it is for whom is a double reward for what they do, and they shall be secure in the highest places.
(8) They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire.
(9) Who is there that will offer to Allah a good gift so He will double it for him, and he shall have an excellent reward.
(10) Surely (as for) the charitable men and the charitable women and (those who) set apart for Allah a goodly portion, it shall be doubled for them and they shall have a noble reward.
