(12) And they proffer unto Allah submission on that day, and all that they used to invent hath failed them.

(13) And We shall take out from every nation a witness and We shall say: Bring your proof. Then they will know that Allah hath the Truth, and all that they invented will have failed them.

(14) Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance).

(15) And those to whom they used to cry of old have failed them, and they perceive they have no place of refuge.
