(145) He said: I have been given this only on account of the knowledge I have. Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations those who were mightier in strength than he and greater in assemblage? And the guilty shall not be asked about their faults.

(146) So he went forth to his people in his finery. Those who desire this world's life said: O would that we had the like of what Qaroun is given; most surely he is possessed of mighty good fortune.

(147) And Lut believed in Him, and he said: I am fleeing to my Lord, surely He is the mighty, the Wise.

(148) Surely Allah knows whatever thing they call upon besides Him; and He is the mighty, the Wise.

(149) With the help of Allah; He helps whom He pleases; and He is the mighty, the Merciful;

(150) And He it is Who originates the creation, then reproduces it, and it is easy to Him; and His are the most exalted attributes in the heavens and the earth, and He is the mighty, the Wise.
