They will reply, "If we had received the Guidance of Allah, we should have given it to you: to us it makes no difference (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience: for ourselves there is no way of escape."

(16) (They are) those who persevere in patience, and put their trust on their Lord.

(17) And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient.

(18) And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots.

(19) (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!"

(20) "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?"
