(67) Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement.

(68) And be steadfast in patience; for verily Allah will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish.

(69) Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrong-doing, if its members were likely to mend.

(70) They stained his shirt with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your minds have made up a tale (that may pass) with you, (for me) patience is most fitting: Against that which ye assert, it is Allah (alone) Whose help can be sought"..
