(87) Of the bounties of thy Lord We bestow freely on all- These as well as those: The bounties of thy Lord are not closed (to anyone).

(88) Make not thy hand tied (like a niggard's) to thy neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach, so that thou become blameworthy and destitute.

(89) Then We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried!

(90) Such were the populations we destroyed when they committed iniquities; but we fixed an appointed time for their destruction.
