(11) And should you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? They would most certainly say: Allah. Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely.

(12) Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep; then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.

(13) And gives a little and (then) withholds.

(14) Have they not seen the birds above them expanding (their wings) and contracting (them)? What is it that withholds them save the Beneficent Allah? Surely He sees everything.

(15) Or who is it that will give you sustenance if He should withhold His sustenance? Nay! they persist in disdain and aversion.

(16) And withhold the necessaries of life.
