(101) Then turn thy face straight to the right religion before there come from Allah the day which cannot be averted; on that day they shall become separated.

(102) For surely you cannot, make the dead to hear and you cannot make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs and turn away.

(103) Nor can you lead away the blind out of their error. You cannot make to hear any but those who believe in Our communications so they shall submit.

(104) And whoever submits himself wholly to Allah and he is the doer of good (to others), he indeed has taken hold of the firmest thing upon which one can lay hold; and Allah's is the end of affairs.

(105) Say: Who is it that can withhold you from Allah if He intends to do you evil, rather He intends to show you mercy? And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any guardian or a helper.

(106) Say: Show me those whom you have joined with Him as associates; by no means (can you do it). Nay! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

(107) Say: You have the appointment of a day from which you cannot hold back any while, nor can you bring it on.

(108) If you call on them they shall not hear your call, and even if they could hear they shall not answer you; and on the resurrection day they will deny your associating them (with Allah); and none can inform you like the One Who is Aware.

(109) And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another and if one weighed down by burden should cry for (another to carry) its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin. You warn only those who fear their Lord in secret and keep up prayer; and whoever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for (the good of) his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

(110) Neither are the living and the dead alike. Surely Allah makes whom He pleases hear, and you cannot make those hear who are in the graves.
