(221) And certainly Haroun had said to them before: O my people! you are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent Allah, therefore follow me and obey my order.

(222) He said: Begone then, surely for you it will be in this life to say, Touch (me) not; and surely there is a threat for you, which shall not be made to fail to you, and look at your god to whose worship you kept (so long); we will certainly burn it, then we will certainly scatter it a (wide) scattering in the sea.

(223) And certainly We gave a commandment to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him any determination.

(224) And thus do We recompense him who is extravagant and does not believe in the communications of his Lord, and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is severer and more

(225) And had We destroyed them with chastisement before this, they would certainly have said: O our Lord! why didst Thou not send to us an apostle, for then we should have followed Thy communications before that we met disgrace and shame.

(226) certainly We have revealed to you a Book in which is your good remembrance; what! do you not then understand?

(227) If there had been in them any gods except Allah, they would both have certainly been in a state of disorder; therefore glory be to Allah, the Lord of the dominion, above what they attribute (to Him).

(228) And certainly apostles before you were scoffed at, then there befell those of them who scoffed that at which they had scoffed.

(229) And if a blast of the chastisement of your Lord were to touch them, they will certainly say: O woe to us! surely we were unjust.

(230) And certainly We gave to Musa and Haroun the Furqan and a light and a reminder for those who would guard (against evil).
