(21) Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

(22) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Praise and thanks be to Allah, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allah better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" (Of course, Allah is Better).

(23) Then We gave the Book (the Qur'an) as inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose (the followers of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Then of them are some who wrong their ownselves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by Allah's Leave, foremost in good deeds. That (inheritance of the Qur'an) - that is indeed a great grace.

(24) Save the chosen slaves of Allah (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism).

(25) Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism).

(26) Except the chosen slaves of Allah.

(27) Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons?

(28) "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!"

(29) And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best!

(30) "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (i.e. faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)."
