(23) But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home!

(24) And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil:

(25) (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.

(26) "And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment."

(27) Behold! We told thee that thy Lord doth encompass mankind round about: We granted the vision which We showed thee, but as a trial for men,- as also the cursed Tree (mentioned) in the Qur'an: We put terror (and warning) into them, but it only increases their inordinate transgression!

(28) And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a lie.

(29) Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing, are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty,-

(30) in this world We made a curse to follow them and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the loathed (and despised).
