(271) He said: Begone then, surely for you it will be in this life to say, Touch (me) not; and surely there is a threat for you, which shall not be made to fail to you, and look at your god to whose worship you kept (so long); we will certainly burn it, then we will certainly scatter it a (wide) scattering in the sea.

(272) And thus have We sent it down an Arabic Quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard (against evil) or that it may produce a reminder for them.

(273) And that you shall not be thirsty therein nor shall you feel the heat of the sun.

(274) And We did not make them bodies not eating the food, and they were not to abide (forever).

(275) And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them for sport.

(276) And We have made great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with them, and We have made in it wide ways that they may follow a right direction.

(277) And He it is Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all (orbs) travel along swiftly in their celestial spheres.

(278) Every soul must taste of death and We try you by evil and good by way of probation; and to Us you shall be brought back.

(279) Man is created of haste; now will I show to you My signs, therefore do not ask Me to hasten (them) on.

(280) And they say: When will this threat come to pass if you are truthful?
