(251) And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors.

(252) And indeed, We created man from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud.

(253) And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire.

(254) And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man (Adam) from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud.

(255) "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him."

(256) [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud."

(257) And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad - holy fighting in Allah's cause].

(258) Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator.

(259) And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatihah) and the Grand Qur'an.

(260) And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death).
